Beliawanis MCA sincerely invites DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) to jointly lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters in Putrajaya regarding the MyKiosk issue, to ensure that our citizens’ interests will be protected.

Given that this project under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has been embroiled in controversy, and involves public funds, the public has the right to know the bidding process for this project—whether it was an open tender or not, the actual cost, site selection, and other related matters.

To date, the Minister concerned, who is from the DAP, has failed to come forward with an explanation. DAP leaders have also been seen defending the project by claiming that many traders are eager to rent the MyKiosks. Furthermore, some have said that MCA leaders are also implicated in this controversy.

Therefore, as a party that prioritises the rights and interests of citizens, we hope DAPSY will stand with us on this issue in the pursuit of truth.

It is hoped that with pressure from both Beliawanis and DAPSY, the MACC can act swiftly to investigate whether there are elements of corruption and abuse of power behind the MyKiosk project, and that the findings are reported transparently in order to restore public confidence in the government.
